IT'S A HEATWAVE
I am puzzled by this insulation business!!!! The very drastic new norms in building insist on this and that to prevent the wasting of energy both in winter and summer. So far,so good...Now explain to me why, when I visit friends in new houses built to these extremely strict norms, I can be sure to melt into a stupor despite the closed shutters while I am as snug as a... in my old farmhouse in stone, all windows open, no insulation, and, yes, the wine cave a cool 18°C, not airconditioned, just buried, did the old builders know something we haven't learned yet, I wonder!
